Interpretation by Gowri:

She is synonymous not just to beauty but also to strength, gentleness, grace, compassion and divinity. She sits on the pedestal ready to bestow her grace upon anybody who seeks her. Let us consider ourselves fortunate and blessed to have caught a glimpse of her from the rear side. Its a divine feast to our eyes. Gosh!!Are we even fit to glance at her face to face?? Her divine aura and radiance may blind the inapt few. Let us hope that this avatar of goddess in the form of kolam is here to stay for a few more days.

அழகின் அரசியே,
பின்னலிட்டால் மறையும்
பின்னழகு என்று
கட்டி முடிந்த--உன்
கார் குழலும்,
வெண் சங்கு போன்ற
வளைந்த கழுத்தும்,
தொட்டால் சிணிங்கியாய்
தோள்களும்
மெலிந்து நீண்ட
மென் கைகளும்,
இடையில் தெரியும்
இடையழகும்
மயக்குகிறது என்னை
மங்கையே உன்

The flowers have the sweetest of nectar and yet are very unassuming. The butterflies swarm towards them. Similary people with the greatest of talents don't need to publicize themselves. Their works talk on their behalf.

In this world(kaliyuga) it may seem to us that we are floating in an ocean of corruption, unrighteousness and attrocities. But let us propel and balance our life( in the form of boat) towards Dharma( truth & righteousness ,shown orange in colour). In the course of our journey ,let us promise ourselves not to drown into the deceitful ocean.

This picture portrays the fact that our life is a juxtaposition of both positives & negatives. But only the presence of both brings out the true beauty of creation.

Gowri's interpretation of the kolam:

In this world people copy each other without thinking rationally if it is the right thing to do( Monkey see, Monkey do). They close their eyes and minds to the consequences of their actions and hence end up becoming a prisoner of their own thoughts( orange collar). 

Mountain to cloud

Clouds may come, clouds may go but I stay strong forever...

π-Woman analogy

If π can converse with a woman;
You have endless roles & responsibilities. I am never ending too. The only difference is I can be rounded to make a calculation complete but your commitments can never be rounded. You have to do justice to every single one in order to make the circle of joyful life complete.

My obeisance is not a sign of weakness,
My obeisance is not a symbol of meekness,
My obeisance does not show any failure.
But rather,
My strength to accept the indifferences in this world,
My maturity to balance the good and evil,
My ability to hold this unstable world with my gentle hands without letting it fall apart!!

We all are unique in our own way and have the right to be independent - both in thoughts and in actions. But after all man is a social animal by nature. Interdependence in a society is very important for a mirthful and harmonious life. But at times when our independance puts Interdependance
in jeopardy there is absolutely no harm in sacrificing the former for the benefit of the latter.

Perspective Outlook of a personified bulldozer

Dear humans,
I thought I had achieved great heights but then realized that I was only standing on a mound of dirt. And that too after a reckless rampage of everything in my path. Thus I stand secluded in the end. Similarly many people assume they are on the top of the world but fail to realize that it was not by winning many hearts but rather by losing them. This will only lead to painful solitude. In the end , your happiness will not be a measure of your achievement but rather, the number of noble people surrounding you.
